AIS SIGSEC WISP at ICIS 2024—Bangkok, Thailand
Security and privacy have become a grand challenge as information systems become increasingly complex. This is a one-day workshop where senior researchers will provide valuable feedback on research papers, and peer colleagues will share their cutting-edge work and perspectives that address significant individual, organizational, and societal challenges. Some of the topics included in this workshop encircle—but are not limited to—socio-technical analysis of information security/ privacy, cultural issues in information security and privacy, analysis of system vulnerabilities and risk exposure, cyber threat intelligence and analytics, freedom of human rights and expression, privacy protection, information ethics, deepfakes, cyberbullying, hate speech, and the impacts of cybersecurity on citizens, national security and society. The AIS Special Interest Group on Information Security and Privacy (SIGSEC) 19th annual Workshop on Information Security and Privacy (WISP) will be held at Bangkok, Thailand on TBD. This workshop is intended to be a forum for scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students interested in information security and privacy to exchange ideas and encourage collaboration among the members of the SIGSEC community and others.
We invite individuals to submit research articles, case studies, position papers, research-in-progress papers, and panel discussion proposals that address all the most interesting aspects of information security, assurance, privacy, and ethics.

WISP will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, in conjunction with ICIS 2024. Please register using the conference registration site (attendees may register for WISP alone).
